Martial artists learn how to both strike out and defend themselves with their
bare hands. The block skill is the art of defensively using one's arm, hand,
or other appendage to effectively parry a strike meant to cause harm to the
martial artist involved. Block is effective against any unarmed attack,
including claws and teeth - however, it is useless against armed opponents.
