Help on desiccate
>help desiccate
Syntax: cast desiccate
Exercising control over the element of water, a mage is able to inflict injury
on a victim by displacing water from it. To the naked eye, it merely appears
that the victim is suddenly drenched in sweat - but in actuality, a large
amount of the water in the victim's body has been drained from his/her body.
This not only causes physical injury in terms of ruptured cells, but also
sharply decreases the victim's regeneration rate due to the massive dehydration
which is caused.
This spell is particularly dreadful when cast upon a cleric, for thirst not
only diminishes their own regeneration, but also their ability to heal others.
