See HELP CROSSTRAIN and HELP ADEPT A skillful fighter can forego the defensive value of a shield and choose instead to wield a second weapon in its place. Attacks made with this weapon will strike less often than with the primary weapon, but more damage will be dealt and there will be a slightly better chance of parrying.
