Help on hangeki
>help hangeki
The Samurai, being masters of the sword, are able to take advantage of the gap
left in an opponent's defense after having parried a blow from its weapon. The
Samurai can use that gap to make a quick thrust with his/her offhand weapon.
A retaliation strike will do less damage than a normal in-round hit, but
doesn't count against in-round attacks.
Hangeki isn't possible with heavy weapons - by the time the Samurai can get
a heavy sword into position to take advantage of the opening in his enemy's
defense, the opening will already have closed. The heaviest unbalanced weapon
a Samurai can perform Hangeki with is 4kg, although a balanced 5kg weapon
can also be used.
